reamer costs

How much would it cost to have a reamer made for an origianal custom chambering? Any info regarding price and reliable manufacturer would be appreciated.
Thanks, 7ultra

Re: reamer costs

Probably around + or - $80. Clymer makes good reamers. You will have to contact them for price, they use to display it on their web site.

Re: reamer costs

Will they also do Dies for reloading or how does that work?
Never pass up a kool-aid stand or lemonade stand. Remember it is a young American learning the American dream.

Re: reamer costs

Dave Kiff at Pacific Tool & Gauge will do them for $135 any way you want.

Die reamer is the same price, just undersized.

Another alternative is to have Jim Carstensen at JLC Precision use your chamber reamer to make a pressed in callapsable sleeve for a Newlon FL die, which saves you the cost of the die reamer.
$185 is what I paid for mine. He needs 6 fire formed brass to do it. The Wilson inline seater was $90.

Niel Jones will make the FL die on the lathe, and needs no die reamer either. He cuts the die slightly undersized to achieve the same thing. Wayne said his dies were $345 all said and done.

I would only use Dave Kiff, 90% of guys recommend him if you only ask around.
