Rate these Triggers!
Give me your opinions on these triggers.
What order would you place them in from best to worst, and why?
Jard, Timney, Rifle Basix.
Going in a Howa action.
Thanks!

Re: Rate these Triggers!
the Howa trigger can be made into a nice trigger with some elbow grease. I'd go with the factory trigger and clean it up

Re: Rate these Triggers!
In my reading, as I often do, I have heard from a lot of Rem guys say that the Rifle Basix triggers are great for the price. I have never owned one, so this is just reading, as I am sure you have.

Re: Rate these Triggers!
Timney fine works for me.
I can't speak for the others you listed.
I wouldn't mind trying a Jewel. They are very popular.
I don't own a Howa. So, I can't comment on the factory trigger.

Re: Rate these Triggers!
My personal rifles have jewel triggers on them....
My 260 by MCR
My 300RUM by MCR
They are fantastic. Set at 1.5lbs they break like glass.
As for the others you name, I've had a friend that had two Rifle Basix triggers fail on him (not saying they're all bad, just one guy that had two go bad). He now has a Timney and had trouble fitting it back into his remington stock.

Re: Rate these Triggers!
I have a Rifle Basix in a Remington, and I like it, was curious about the Timney, and have heard of no one using the Jards....
I was just wondering as far as quality, how would ya'll rate these , 1,2,3.
