Pro's and con's of the 300SAUM?

I traded for a 300SAUM Sendero s/s yesterday, I know very little about this calibur. What are the pro's and con's of this calibur, and how does it stack up to the 300WSM? Does anyone know the twist in the factory barrel, and what grain bullet usually works? I also posted a question on load advice in the handloading section of this forum. Any information would be helpful.
