proper breakin procedures for sendro sf

hi guys, just purchased a sendero sf 300 win mag

i have done a search on the forum trying to located info on "proper breakin procedures".....

since i am new to the forum, my search skills are lacking....

any assiatance would be greatly appreciated....

IMO, the shoot one shot then clean method does more harm than good. Shoot a 20 rounds of ammo to get the scope zeroed, and see how it does out of the box, then give it a good thorough cleaning. After that, just shoot it normally and don't over heat the barrel. Here is a good write-up on break in at Sniper's Hide.

have a vais installed .. adjust trigger. install 6.-20 leup. load ammo - lapua brass. shoot . clean every 20- 30 shots. barrel break in omitting no steps :
