proper barrel break-in

proper barrel break-in

I have recently purchased a new rifle that will b used for F class comp, ive read a little about properly breaking in the barrel but still unsure on the proper procedure, what is the proper way to do this

    you'll get as many different opinions as there are people, on this subject...

    you might want to read several of the major barrrel manufacturer's instructions on breakin...

    also, I'm sure you'll get tons of good info on this site...

    I agree, read Barrel Break-in and Break-In & Cleaning. At the bottom of the Krieger page, you can see the frequency stated. One thing is sure in all break-in procedures, there will be a lot of cleaning.
