Primer Life

I have seen a couple of posts lately about primers deteriorating. I buy primers 1000 at a time and it may take 6 months to shoot 1000. Sure hope they don't go bad sitting on the shelf in my air conditioned house.

Are we talking about primers in loaded rounds going bad or primers still in the box on the shelf going bad? (Who knows how long they have been sitting on the shelf where I buy them ...)

Re: Primer Life

I bought a mess of CCI-250 primers over 20 years ago and am still using them. They work fine.
NRA Life Member and I vote.

Only accurate rifles are interesting.
