Powder for 30.06 autoloader

Looking for a suitable powder for a Rem autoloader 22"bbl with medium weight bullets (150-165). I don't know much about it so any help will be appreciated. I thought of 4350 but wasn't sure being its an autoloader so if there is a more suitable powder I'd like to hear from anyone with experience.
Thanks
MR

Re: Powder for 30.06 autoloader

I have used 4350 for 150 and 165's but have gone to 4064. IMR 4064 gets me the velocity and accuracy that works best in my 7400. It also doesn't seem to be as violent in ejecting the brass, so seems easier on the action. Just my observation...

Would these powders work in a 308 bar, mine's 18" and I'm thinking about building a 130 grain tsx load for whitetail? Or any other similar fast loads with a good whitetail bullet. Primers too?

Re: Powder for 30.06 autoloader

That's what I have been finding out. I talked to a guy today that loads for garands and he suggested Imr 4895. How do you know if factory ammo is suitable for autoloaders? Is there a way to find out what they are loaded with or are they generalized for all uses?

Any factory ammunition is made to sammi specs as are the firearms. Military issue guns like the garand are nade to the military spec of the day.
