Ok. Who's shooting a 6.5 SAUM??

Google 6.5 extreme, a fellow named Laverne has done this already done a lot of work with this cartridge and I think it's just about the perfect case capacity for a hot rod 6.5

The only thing I could find on the 6.5 extreme was related to a 300RCM necked down to 6.5. It was not a SAUM.

Yes you are right. I guess it's been a while but here is a link to a thread about that 6.5 and a borden rifle chambered for it. I know the author is willing to help people out and I believe he has dies and reamers for it- just join the forum and contact him

I've got a bit of a 6.5 addiction as well, would you mind sharing your 6.5 WSM experience and how you found it a bit finicky. I'm on round 2 with a 264 win. I found it a bit finicky to keep the es low when I was playing with my first one. Retumbo and 140 vld's.

I just couldn't get it to shoot the hunting VLD'S with any consistency. 5/8" was about as good as it got with that rifle. Most groups landing in the 3/4" range.

I hear ya on your 264wm. I've never owned one but the ones I have been around haven't shot all that well.

I'm hoping this 6.5 SAUM will shoot or I guess I'll have to shrink the boltface and build a 6x47 Lapua!!!
