New Hart Barrel Arrived!

Dear LRH,

I just wanted to take a moment to let the forum know how much I enjoyed working with Hart Barrels and in particular Karen Hart. She is a such a joy and takes time to listen to potential clients and their needs and wants. She was able to accurately give me options and variation of products that she thought would make sense to me and my needs.

The Barrel:
26 Inch 1:10 6 groove
Helical Fluted
X Heavy Varmint Straight Taper
.30 for a .300wm AICS

This thing is beautiful. Let me say that all the edges on the barrel are clean. The metal is clean and lacks any imperfections or signs of mishandling. The rifling seems to be spot on (will be able to tell with some shots down range), and the milling is flawless on my flutes. No burrs no nothing. If this things shoots as good as it looks its all my fault if I miss not the equipment.

Next it will be off the the smith and then Karl Kampfeld for paint.

Ill keep everyone posted on the results and the build if anyone is interested. Just speak up!

That is sweet I cant wait to get mine. I might have to have those flutes done. Very nice gun.

Thanks bro! Are the Harts making your barrel you say? They are great at different styles. You will not be sad. I'm going to post more pics of the build as it goes.

Wow thats one fine looking rifle ! I hope to order my .338 barrel from hart soon. if you dont mind me asking where in Alabama are you at?

Cool I've never hunted there? Can you get any long range shots there? I travel to fulfill my need for putting it out there to distance. We have too many trees!
