Really??? Where do you come up with these posts.
338-378 Weatherby brass lasting longer than 338 Lapua brass??? This post proves to anyone that has shot both and loaded for both one thing. You obviously have not shot and loaded for one of them very much. The facts are the primer pockets in the 378 Based Weatherby, when loaded even close to a max load will be gone in 5 or 6 firings at best. And at 4, maybe even 3 firings you will be hand seating primers, some going in looser than others and thinking "well these are about gone". My last batch of 100 338 Lapua cases, all shot with 300 gr bullets and a stiff charge of H-1000 went 15 firings. That's a 3 to 1 better rating for the Lapua brass.
