Im sure the recoil of the 243 doesnt bother you, but braking it will make the recoil null and void, and if you need to spot ur own shots sometimes there is nothing wrong with that. I plug my ears all the time now, so I have a brake on damn near every rifle bc recoil can greatly affect ur shot. Brake it!
