Moly removal from bullets

What is the best way to do this? I bought a large lot of 30 cal bullets that are moly coated and would like to remove it. I've heard tumbing is an option....

Thanks.

Are they soft points? If so you will bugger up the tips. (Don't ask me how I know.) If not, then it should work just fine. As I recall it will take a while with corn cob media if they were impact plated and coated with wax.

I've tumbled many of them with no ill effect. I used corncob media but would suggest something more aggressive like walnut shells or a similar tumbling media for a faster result.

Or you could put them in with a stong solution of Dawn dish washing soap and save the media for cleaning cases. The plus side is your tumbler could probibly use a good cleaning anyway
