Method for Measuring Barrel Friction in March 2012 Precision Shooting

The method we developed for quantifying barrel friction has been approved for public release and is described in detail in the March 2012 issue of Precision Shooting. The method has an accuracy estimated at 3% for conventional jacketed lead bullets, but uncertainties tend to be higher for lead free bullets.
