Low recoil long range cartridge
What would be a good low recoil long range round that is not a wildcat i can get in a factory rifle and between .257 and .284 caliber?

260. Remington, Savage, CZ, and Tikka I think all have make or have in the past made 260s.

how does recoil compare to lets say a 7mm-08 or a 308 winchester?

Depending on the weight of the rifle, it should be pretty similiar.

has anyone thrown around the idea of necking down a 7mm RUM to .264 i think it would be able to push 140 grainers around 3400 fps.
