Re: lost river ballistic technologies bullets?

I'm not seeing anything out there with a higher BC. In fact, I see nothing even close at those weights.

The bullets could be coated with moly or tungsten, to reduce fouling.

I don't know how to make solids group well.
Maybe someone here does.

Re: lost river ballistic technologies bullets?

I tried some of the j40 250g in .338LM. I was expecting the worst, having heard about a lot of problems with accuracy. They were seated pretty deep (far from the rifling), and the powder was pretty conservative (same as I use for 300SMK). They actually grouped not too bad at 300yds. Not quite as good as the 300 SMK though. Fouling was worse, but not crazy. I did moly coat them. Hope this helps.

Would be interested in buying your Lost River 7 mm 140 grain bullets. Looking for some 80 grain 6 mm bullets by them also.

Re: lost river ballistic technologies bullets?

Lost River Bullets fizzled out. A local store here in Blackfoot Idaho has several boxes of various J36 calibers.

Lost River is now Hooker Tactical and is located in Arco, Idaho.

Hooker Tactical, Inc.

I'm especially interested in their "escorts" and "Hooker Tempestini" This combination should make for a great hunt.

Nice web page but nothing there, yet.

I found this "Tempestini" but I don't think she's a "Hooker" escort.

Oger, I apologize for this rude response to one of your first posts. But I am LMAO. Lost River has been a local and nationwide topic for years and I just couldn't help myself. Being an American of Italian descent, I really don't know what they mean by Tempestini but seeing as how they offer "escorts" I jumped all over it.

The lost river's always worked well in my Lilja (tight bore) and were super long range predator bullets shooting only coyotes with them They were very effective and did very little damage to the pelt.

Let me know the caliber and I'll see if I can come up with some. I think I can "talk" the store down a bit in cost.

Let me know if you have interest.
