looking for tips on using a rest for shooting up hill

im shooting a .50bmg LBR from a rest. the hill is so steep and the ground is not level.how can i get stable.the angle is such that i can't use the rest stop.maybe build a platform.its for target work and any unlucky deer or groundhogs that walk my way.the gun is not made for a bipod.it has a 3.5 inch flat forearm, thanks, keith
