Loading the 185 Scenar in .308

I've done some preliminary work with the Lapua 185 Scenar in my .308 which looks promising. However, what I want to do is to get this bullet up to around 2700 fps at the muzzle. According to my internal ballistics program, it's possible using H414 and VV550, although does warn that it will be a HOT LOAD. Hot loads are O.K. as long as they don't start wrecking my brass. I have my doubts that I can drive this bullet at this speed without enlarging the primer pockets.

This week, I am going to do a progressive load up of VV550, Lapua brass, 210M and give it a shot (heh, heh . . . I crack myself up)on Saturday. If any of you have any experience with this particular bullet, I'd sure like to hear it.

Thanks.
