Length of Pull

How do you measure LOP? I've got my scope mounted back pretty far and I feel like I'm stretching to get the proper sight picture. I think my stock needs to be shortened but I'm not sure how much to take off. I'm planning on putting a Manners MCS-T4A on it next year as a permanent solution.

Re: Length of Pull

One way to measure (not the only way Im sure) length of pull is, bend your arm at 90 degrees and measure from the inside joint of your elbow/forearm to the forward most joint of your trigger finger.

This will get you close but there are other factors evolved, neck length, the amount of muscle in your "pocket" of the shoulder and cheek thickness.
