Leave the more complicated reloading technique to the more advanced reloader for now until you gain more experience ... like the ability to shoot long range effectively, it does not happen overnight. Enjoy the learning experience.

Fire forming is part of the fun and learning experience. Keep it simple, pick a quality .280 Rem brass and fire form it to whichever .280 AI chambering you have and press on. I personally develop a load while fire forming.

No Problem. I know your comments are always for the Question and not directed toward anyone.

I just used your post to clarify my statement and shouldn't have.

Sorry if I gave the impression that I was directing it at you The more comments a poster gets, the easier it is for him to decide and I was just trying to make him aware of the difference.

I respect and enjoy your post and your point of view.

Copy that, it's all good. The feeling is mutual.

I've learned so much from this site, esp. for those that are always able and willing to help like yourself but I have plenty more to learn.

Cheers!

Here's an older thread and you decide if it's a simple or difficult process ...

Fire-forming 280 Ackley Improved from Lapua 30-06?

Good luck!

I've seen it for sale several places in the past including the classified on LRH. I don't know where to buy it right now. You can probably find some on GOOGLE.
