Lapua 123gr Scenar

I just started shooting LR. I got a remington model 700 in 260. It's one of my favorite rifles. I've taken a few deer and a boar using remington express 140gr core lokt bullets. They are great but I wanted something with a little more accuracy, so i bought some 260 match using the Lapua 123gr Scenar bullet at 2800fps. They shoot around 3/4 moa out to about 300 yards which is the farthest i've shot so far. How will these bullets perform on game and at longer range? any help appreciated. Re: Lapua 123gr Scenar

I haven't heard one positive thing about the Lapua bullets expanding , I think that they use a thick or very tough jacket that keeps the bullst from opening up.
based on what I have read and been told they might do ok if your shooting into the shoulder bone but other than that I woulden't risk them
