How about an update on the 338/375 Ruger projects?

I am considering putting together one on a LR platform. Would like to hear any updates from the posters that contributed here:

338/375 Ruger?

Last post was 11-06-2010

Any more information? Is Hornady going to make a version?

The main reason I am considering this is due to the recent production of higher BC .338 bullets. Berger's 300 hybrid, a soon to be released Berger 250 and Hornady's 285 bullet. Why the 338/375 Ruger and not a 338 RUM? Magazine length. Those long VLDs and a standard length magazine just don't work well together IMO.

Looking forward to hearing the latest.

Thanks for the link,I will read it. In the meantime, why not just go with a 338 Norma?
