H1000 vs Retumbo

Does anyone have any experience with H1000 and Retumbo in 338 Lapua or the Ultra Mags?

Which is better for the Ultra's/ 338 Lapua?

Re: H1000 vs Retumbo

I shot some H1000 in a 7mmRUM with generally poor results. I have some Retumbo on order, but have yet to get it in & try it out....

FWIW: some friends swear by H50BMG in 300RUM Imps & 338RUMs.

With the lighter bullet's (178's,180's)H1000 work's well.....Retumbo really start's to shine with the heavy bullet's...

In a 26" tube what kind of difference can be expected between the 2 powders using the 300 grain Matchking in 338 Lapua?
