They are fully expanded. They are devistating on soft tissue, but not on firm tissue. Is the best way I can describe them. They are so different than the convetional bullets that we are used to. The killing power is hard to explain. I think next year we may spent some time trying to harvest some game with 22 cal just to see. They have been shooting fairly large African game with 22 cal HV's for a while now.

JWP, I think you've got these bullets mixed up with the SP line. The SP's are the pointy, non-expanding bullets. These were the HV hunting line.
