lol, probably. I have no solid facts to offer, but here is what I have seen with the new barels I have ordered over the years.
The most accurate 30's I have are 5 C's from Broughton.
The 6 land Hart on the 7mm-300 is an awesome barrel and I have another of those going together plus a spare on the shelf.
I have a 4 land Kreiger on my 6 br and it works very well. But I also had a 6 land Shaw on a 6mm- 284 that shot well with small bullets.
The only bad barrel I have ever bought was a 4 land in 30 cal.
I have heard lately that some guys are doing .338's with 3 land Liljas that are tac drivers. But have not seen this first hand.
So, to me. I feel it has something to do wit bore size. Since you are doing a 6.5, if it were me, I would be looking at the 6 land Harts or maybe a 5C Broughton.
Hope this helps and does not add to the confusion.
