G7 BC for 210 ABLR

I shot some 210 ABLR bullets in Townsend MT this weekend and at 2877 fps muzzle velocity, a G7 BC of .318 worked out perfectly. I thought i should share to possibly save others the headache of incorrect BC's. It shot really well out to about 750 yards in some tricky wind, at 1014 yards things went a bit crazy and i started hitting way high (like 6 MOA) but i think there were some updrafts as i saw the same thing shooting my 284 win.

Biggest fail of 2014 so far... http://www.longrangehunting.com/foru...ea-ftf-128972/

My guess on W3P .308 230 Grain Bullet: G1 .740-.755

Thanks for the info. how does that G7 compare to Berger 210 VLD, 215 Hybrid, and Hornady 208 A-max? Looking for a new pill for my RUM.

.323 G7 for the 210 berger vld, .356 G7 for the 215 hybrid, and .325 G7 for the 208 amax, i would look at the 230 grain target, OTM or 215 hybrid for your 300 rum.

I thought wind along the base of the Elkhorns changed quick with 4 MOA corrections between shots....now up to 6 MOA. Go figure.

Thanks for posting G7 BC results for the 210 ALRs.

Hopefully Nosler will adjust their advertised BCs with enough testing and gripes by others, especially from those that use their products.
