Flush cup/stud placement on new stock?

So do you have both front and back cups on the side? I see some guys go front on the side and back on the bottom.

    Yes mine are both on the side and it works for me. I dont shoot the rifle with a sling. If I did I could see the point of putting the rear one on the bottom.
