Re: Dont laugh at this question.

That's what I like about this site. I have had this same question but did not want to ask. I think I have a 26 inch barrel?

Re: Dont laugh at this question.

Depends on the action.

Winchester, about .725 at 1"-16
Remington, about .680 at 1.0625-16
Bat about 1.150 at 1.0625-16 or 1.125-16
Nesika About 1.050 at 1.0625-18 or 1.125-20
Stolle, about 1.100 @ 1.0625-16
Hart 1" @ 1.0625-16
If you have something that you disassemble and reassemble enough times, sooner or later, you'll have two!

Re: Dont laugh at this question.

Ok so if i want a .280 ackley Improved with a 28 inch barrel then I would have to specify weather that was from the bolt face or the base of the seated bullet?

Would those of you who answered my .280 ackley post please respond and tell me what the legnth of the barrel is from muzzle to bolt face.

GRAVITY. It's not just a good idea. It's the LAW!
