Does this make sense to you?

I was on JBM's ballistics calculation page, and I compard to types of ammo that I have:

Hornady 180 Grain SST's
and
Federal Speer Hot Core Soft Point 180 Grain

I thought the Hornady's would fly way flatter, but it turns out they are almost exactly the same, and the Federal's actually are just about an inch flatter than the Hornady's at around 700 yards.

Does this make sense to you, or did I do something wrong?

Thanks.

Re: Does this make sense to you?

Makes sense to me considering the figures are based on advertised BC and advertised velocity.
