Thanks for the replies fellas. It is refreshing to get my mind out of the box I put in in and let in some more experienced perspectives. Thank you!

BTW, Fifty, that 3166fps 1st shot was after shooting 3 identical rounds through that barrel a couple of weeks earlier and then 1 shot during elk season. Barrel had 4 rounds through it and was left dirty then shot over the chrono. I guess I'd been hoping to see that number about 30fps higher to put it nearer that overall average...
