Re: color for Mcmillan stock?

I think that pattern would look nice. I think it is kind of a gamble as to exactly what your stock comes out looking like. SS7MM's stock came out great looking but if you want the same colors again in the same stock you may get a completely different look.

I am hoping me and BJ's stock comes out looking a lot like SS7mm's but I am nervous that it might look like a zebra's ass!!!

good luck

Re: color for Mcmillan stock?

I know if they could make a granite pattern I would not have to decide on any other color. When I called them the other day I should have asked them if they had a color combo that would look like granite. I know hs precision has the granite just want an a5. Lerch you never know it might come out looking like a skunk I think you will get something that you will like. Heck it is an A5.

Re: color for Mcmillan stock?

Hey ss7mm, can you tell me a bit more abuot the specifics of your rifle? Like caliber, barrel contour, barrel length, muzzle brake, scope, bases, and what is that flip thing on your scope as well as any other details. Sorry to do this through this posting but I cannot figure out how to send a message only to you.... thanks!

FullCurlHunter:

Don't want to hijack this thread so I'll keep it short.

You can read about the gun "At This Thread".

The flip thing is a Scopelevel. You can read about it "Here at their web site".

If you want more info, my e-mail address is in my profile.

Re: color for Mcmillan stock?

I have an A3 in 60% tan, 20% brown and 20% grey. I also have an A5 that is 80%black, 10%grey and 10%white. I hope these help.
