thanks for the reply catshooter, I understand and agree with most of what you said. but it is my belief that nothing that I have used even with the faults you have mentioned can give as consistant readings as the Oehler.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Got to agree, if you cannot get the Oehler, go with the CED.

I bought the new CED Millennium M2 chronograph and just came back from the range. I am really impressed with it. I shot about 30 round rounds(both at muzzle and at 200 yrds) with no problems. The nicest feature that I liked was the CED software that came with it. I was able to download the data onto my computer which listed all of the shot velocities,stings, extreme spread, standard deviation ect. This was a very easy process which took about two minutes to do; which included downloading the software. I give it two thumbs up!
