Can someone run this on quickload for me?
284 winchester, 162 grain A-Max, COAL of 3.185 which would be touching the lands, 26" barrel. Can you give me the max charge for H4350 at max pressure (54,000 CUP i believe, and i just want a ballpark max charge) and muzzle velocity? Thanks!!

Me too.
My new build is in 284 Win.
Expect I'll have all the same reloading issues as barnesuser.
Thanks in advance.

We can help each other figure out what we are doing wrong! I think max will be around 56 grains of h4350 or a little less.

Just for a headsup:
Hornaday has 53.5g H 4350 for 2848 fps.
My bad, this is Hodgdon Data not Hornaday.

Thats what hodgdon says too, but it is a compressed charge, and since i am running a really long throat, i think i will be able to use a little more powder SAFELY.

Yep, me too. I'm using a long action Remmy.
COAL will not be an issue.
