Calling all RCR 300 WSM varminter owners

Hi Guys,
I've procrastinated for far too long on building a 300 Wsm varminter! I have a suitable Barnard P action on hand with McMillan stock, Several bags of Norma brass & just ordered my Redding competition dies from Sinclaires.
The majority of my varminting is in the 300-600yard range, I'm not hung up on BC or having to allow for more wind as a result. What I want is maximum splat & air time! Do I barrel with a 1-16 to 1-17" twist for the lightweights or go 1-13 to 1-14" twist for the 150gr weight for the best carnage results?
I was hoping a fellow 300 varminter owner could offer some advice from their experience.

P.S - Before you ask I'm not "Wildcat" so be gentle I just want to splat larger size varmints (Wallaby) which can get as big as 10kg & not have to worry about ricchochets taking out farmers cattle.

Anything you shoot out of that cannon will explode varmints. I would recommend thinner jacketed bullets, 165gr+. I think target bullets like the Sierra Match King or Bergers would be ideal. Have fun.

I would bet the 110 grain V-Max would produce an awesome splat, but I don't know if they'd be good much past 3 or 400 yards. The 185 Berger does nasty things to coyotes and I imagine similar carnage on a Wallaby.

Fordnutter i would say build it how ya want and run bergers, they just flat blow holes....im shootin HSM factory loads with the 168s, coons, yotes and ground hogs pretty much splode....oh and crows turn into a puff of feathers....even with 1/10 twist they are groupin 1/2 moa(80f and up) or under(79 and cooler)....
