Bullet Design

I've recently found a new passion in delving deeper into external ballistics. I've been studying this topic and have come across a lot of good material, especially "The New Exact Small Arms Ballistics" book written by Arthur J. Pejsa. Excellent information and I'm now working on writing a ballistics software program for myself and possibly to add as a package deal through my friends company Next Generation Arms. Now I want to learn more about bullet design from a theoretical standpoint. I was hoping some people on here with far more experience than I have would be able to recommend some technical literature or books on the subject matter. I'm a chemical engineer, so the more technical the better. Thanks for any help you guys can provide.
