I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but the definition of a ballistic coefficient's standard reference projectile is "1 inch in diameter, weighing 1 pound, OF THE SAME SHAPE". Here's a pretty good link to some good ballistics info.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but the G1 is actually based on the Gavre and Krupp drag models, which in turn came down to the Ingall's model. Not quite clear on what you're after here, if you can clarify it a bit.

Kevin, I wanted to know the "exact projectile" the different drag functions were derived from. I believe that the above link answer my question
