Brux bbls are fast bbls

My 6/284 bbl is soaking in Wipe out now. I'll let you know. My 7mm bbl doesn't foul any more than any other bbl.

You could build yourself a 7mm RUM with that barrel and get 4000 fps with a 139 gr bullet.

X3 . That is a impressive speed, but it's a little TOO fast. My STW 's don't even get that. Otherwise, the Brux barrels are awesome. I am building a 26 in 280 as we speak. These barrels hardly foul. Awesome barrels.

I've got Lilja,Bartlein,Hart,Kreiger,Shilen barrels that get better than published velocity from 130fps up to almost 200fps more. I always figure maybe just got the right combination from length ,twist etc more so than one brand is faster than the other.

It's pretty easy to pick up if chronograph the start loads up to max loads. In my 280AI I can get max velocity 3grs under max load used a Lilja barrel. I do back my loads down to max velocity instead of the higher velocity maybe old school if I really wanted that maybe I should look at another build.
