Are Blazer 40gn .22LR and CCI Mini-Mag 40gn .22LR the Same?

I got to looking at the specs on these two cartridges. Both are 40gn @ 1235fps, and both are headstamped CCI.

I would like to use the Blazers to practice and the CCI to hunt. However, I don't want to be contaminating the CCI lube with Blazer lube or vice versa. Therefore, does anyone know if they use the same stuff? I don't want to sight in one only to find out that the POI has shifted and end up having to shoot 20 just to get the barrel re-seasoned.

The CCI Mini-Mags let me hit small game at 100yds; the Blazer is not 100% consistent beyond 50yds or so. In other words, given a 1" PB for the vitals, I'm confident of hitting it with the Mini-Mags, not so much the Blazers.

I do form both in D Rock's tool, but Blazers just have more variation from cartridge to cartridge when powder charges and bullet weights are concerned.

Mini-Mags are copper washed and Blazers aren't.

You need to weigh your Blazers if you want real accuracy. 72% of my Blazer weighed out 50.5-50.6 grains. The ones that weigh out under 50.2 grains are the flyers, or over 50.8 grains. Blazers are one minute of angle out of a CZ 452 and compare to Mini-Mag and Game-Shok 810 if you sort them out beforehand. The lack of copper wash doesn't seem to affect fouling rate very much. At 100 yards, Blazer hits one inch low compared to Game-Shok 810, but accuracy seems just as good if you sort it out. GAme-Shok 810, Mini-Mag and Blazer all seem to have the same semi-spitzer bullet shape that I find more accurate that the classic round nosr shape. It's all ATK ammo, so I expect a lot of similarity between the three.

Shipton's has Blazer at $12.99 a brick right now, so I loaded up and blew all my .25 cal pellet money on them. At that price, they are cheaper than JSB pellets.

They are not the same thing. Blazers are the cheap stuff for people looking to fire off rounds at nothing from 25, 50, or 100 round mags.

Minimags are much better. I prefer standard velocity because they are quiet and accurate in my gun.
If I need some speed, I reach for velocitors. They shoot real good too.
