Best savage action to build on

I am thinking of building a tactical/sniper competition rifle on a savage action in the future. What action is the best to build on, a 110, 111, 112, or 116. will probably go with a 308 or 30-06 to start out with and may build up to 338 RUM in the far future.

For sniper comps go with the 10P, the short action for a 308. But for more versatility go with the 110 (long action) in 06 then it will let you build up to the RUM with a bolt head change,etc..
Stay away from the single shots for the comps- you'll get killed in the speed drills and a few other events.
On another note most place that hold sniper comp won't allow more than a 300 Win Mag. Something to consider....
Get rid of the Accu-Trigger- it won't take the dragging around in the dirt in the comps. Replace with a SharpShooter.
Bed it in a McMillan and blast away!!!
