best bore brush

best bore brush

what brand/style of brush should i use to get my barrels clean without a false positive reading...im using the hollands copper brushes now but am not pleased.

I use a nylon brush to apply copper solvent.

I use a bronze brush to scrub and apply solvent to scrub powder residue.

I hardly ever use a brush, but if I do it's a Proshot. I only use Proshot rods as well (uncoated)

If you do not want false readings, stay away from bronze brushes. I recommend either the Montana Extreme of Iosso nylon brushes.

I bought the Dewey brushes, and found that they are just not tight enough for the bore.

It depends on the chemicals you are using. Some of the newer chemicals will eat a brass/bronze and you have to use a nylon brush.

I'm using Bore Tech's Proof Positive brushes. NO false positives from them!

im using bore tech eliminator and bore tech eliminator +cu2....i just picked up some montana extreme nylon brushes at the store....just happend to be in stock and i just happend to be in the area. if they dont work any better i'll try some of the bore tech nylon brushes
