Bartlein and Krieger have both treated me very well. Bartlein recently replaced a barrel for me that seemed to wear out extremely quickly, even though it is in a barrel burner cartridge, the .243 Win. Both of these companies produce outstanding barrels that are as accurate as I can shoot so I'll continue to use their products. I'll also be trying out some Hawk Hill barrels in the very near future so I'm excited to see how these shoot also. And yeah, the single Brux barrel I had shot as well as my Krieger and Bartleins have.
It also depends on how long you want to wait to build your rifle. Some places like Brunos carries Krieger barrels in stock and if he doesn't have it when you call he will probably be getting it in a couple weeks. He has barrel coming in all the time. If you order a barrel from a manufacturer you are going to wait a long time. There are other places that stock barrels, just do your research.
Here is the link for Hawk Hill: Hawk Hill Custom - Hawk Hill Custom A good friend of mine has been using these barrels for a couple years now and reports great accuracy. I trust his opinion so am going to try them out this next competition season. I'm not sure how long they've been making barrels and full custom rifles though.
I've used several of each Brux, Benchmark and Kreiger, and one each of Hart and Broughton in the last few months.
For the money and the finished product the Benchmarks are giving me warm fuzzy feelings as do the Harts.
I just received another Benchmark last night!
