Changes in Berger Bullet Offerings
From: Eric Stecker

Executive Vice President

Berger will be discontinuing some bullet in their lineup. This is due to lack of demand, shooters desire to apply their own bullet coating, or that they offer a better option in the caliber and bullet weight. Availability will be limited so we suggest you stock up on favorites....

Re: Berger discontinuing

There is one clarification that needs to be made. The bullets that are listed as MOLY will still be available without MOLY. For these bullets only we are discontinuing the Moly coating as a service. The bullets will still be available.

Also, we are not discontuning these bullets immediately. Our plan is to make this announcement so that those who want them can order before they are no longer available.

We will wait until this news has had a chance to make its way around the forums and then will pick a deadline after which the bullet will officially no longer be available. This will likely be several months from now (today is 10-8-10).

Regards,
Eric

Re: Berger discontinuing

We are making the 25 cal 115 gr VLD Hunting bullets now and will continue to make them until all back orders are satisfied and we put plenty of bullets on the shelf. These bullets started shipping last week. If you want to find out which dealers have been shipped these bullets already call 714-447-5456 or check with your dealer to see if they have received theirs yet.

The 25 cal 125 gr bullet has been put on a back burner for now. We are working hard to get caught up after having to rebuild our jacket machines. We are also expanding our capacity with new machines. This has been our focus.

We do have a few new bullets that will be released soon but far fewer than we would have if we weren't working on our capacity solutions.

Regards,
Eric
