BC ?

Can the bc of a .30 caliber bullet change depending on the case it's fired from? For example a 180gr TSX from a 300 win mag vs a 180gr TSX from a 30-378Wby. I'm not sure if velocity affects the bc rating. Thanks

Take a look at Sierra's BCs. They differ slightly for changes in velocity. All bullet do.

Thus if velocities were vastly different in the two cartridges, I suppose the BCs would be different because of the different velocities.

However, I wouldn't be too concerned about the difference, IMO.
