Re: Barrel Cleaning

My idea of a clean barrel is when you run a clean patch down the bore, the patch should come out clean also on the other end. Fortunately, cleaning should not be a problem on premium custom made barrel since the bore are more uniformed and lapped properly before it leaves the maker. I'm very anal when it comes to rifle cleanliness. My rifle never go backs to the safe after a trip to the range or hunting, without being scrub clean inside and out. I can't stand dirty rifle. To achieve the maximum possible accuracy, all variables must be remove or at least minimize.

Re: Barrel Cleaning

Blygy, Yes if you are shooting a factory barrel. After making sure all copper is removed, some factory barrels need several fouling shots before they will shoot accurately again. Less of a problem with custom barrels (is lapped properly).
