Barnes #3 reloading manual ( BAD DATA )

Heads up if use this manual.

The 30/06 and 30/378 list the 165gn XLC data for the 180gn XLC, an exact copy with a picture of the 180 XLC.

The 7mm RemMag 140gn Data is Wrong also, where the data came from here is anybodys guess. These XLC's are faster bullets but check to make sure it fits in with the others.

Evidently someone was sleeping.

Another guy emailed them and they said "the velocities were wrong but the powder charges are right and they didn't know where the velocities came from". They are WRONG, and some starting loads exceed a max load for the same noncoated version, which is something they failed to double check AGAIN!!

later

Brent,
Interested to hear what you think of the little article on long range shooting in the new Barnes manual - some of the Barnes folk took a long range hunter's class last summer.
