After meeting with a new gunsmith yesterday I cancelled the Bartlien order. He will have me a new Brux here in 5 days. I was hoping to have this rifle ready for next springs bear hunt. Now I will be hunting deer with it this fall. The Brux will finish at 27 inches. Can't wait.
    Thanks for all your advice,
    Kirk

I have owned them all. Bartlien are hands down the best three barrels I own, and have three more on order. Ask this question on Snipershide and I would say 90% of the guys there will only use these cut rifle barrels. Its the only Barrel manufacture the GA Precision will use. Robert Gradous uses Bartlein, Broughton, and Krieger barrels, all of which are great barrels. If you want talk with someone with a wealth of knowledge give him a call. I am only aware of one rifle builder that gives a 1/4 MOA guarantee. He uses Krieger 4 groove barrels.

Had a Brux that shot extremely well. Also had a Rock Creek back in 2002 that shot extremely well. I also have experience with Kreiger (excellent accuracy) and Bartlien (my favorite so far) and Benchmark barrels that shot very nice. I'm not a personal fan of Douglas although I might have just had bad luck with that barrel. I think you'll be very pleased with your Brux but don't hesitate to use Kreiger or Bartlien if you can get one.

I'd take a Bartlein in a heartbeat. Great barrels.
