any new results w/bore teck 245 gr

I just picked up a box of these, great looking bullet.

Any results from the members here good or bad?

Data for a 338 edge or 338 lapua?

I recall some members on the hide having trouble keeping them under
MOA. They would be an ideal bullet if the BC is as high as advertised
and you can get them to shoot. Also reasonably priced for a solid.

Please post your testing results. I had wanted to try them in my edge
but have been waiting to hear some more results.

I would think that these bullets would load similar to Barnes TTSX bullets meaning they will like to jump to the lands. I load 4 different calibers with TTSX bullets and the closest one jumps .075" to the lands. I have considered the Boretech V3 bullet if the Berger does not work out in my 338 Lapua. Please post your test results.

    I loaded 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, grains of H1000 fed 215 primers Nosler brass.
245 bore tech aprox .065 off the lands.

started velocity was 2812 fps and 93 grains was 2934 fps and showed over pressure signs. Didn't fire the 94gr load. I figured the safe load was 91 grains at about 2875 fps.

300 smks in the same rifle run 2805 and that is as similar a load as the 91 grain load with the bore tech bullet as far as reading pressure on the same brass primer.

Only problem was they all made oval holes in the target at 100 yards with a 30" 10 twist 6 groove Brux.

Well do think these bullets need a some more distance to stabilize.

Well there is still a little hope then I'm running a 30in Brux with a 9.5 twist.
