This has to be an effort for gun control. There's no need to take our guns if we can't shoot them.

I'm just curious . I wonder why they haven't targeted fishing sinkers yet ???? I thought they were made out of Lead as well. Atleast that's what we use to melt down when we made ours What these individuals need is a good ole fashioned FISHIN POLE WHIPPEN !!!

From what I understand, if they institute the ban it will all so ban lead sinkers as well. According to foxnews, if they do go forward with the ban, the EPA will be violating a U.S. law which exempts ammo from EPA regulations.

Drudge report has it that the EPA has said "NO", to the ammo ban but is looking closely at the fishing weight ban. You have till the 15th of Sept. to voice your opinion to the EPA on the sinker question. The originators of the request for the ammo ban were some bird watchers and Veternarians.
