Altitude vs. Barometric pressure

As far as the bullet is concerned, the only thing it cares about is the local "absolute" pressure.

Whether you are at 2,000 feet or 7,000 feet, if the ABSOLUTE pressure is 26" inches, the flight/drop will be the same.

So what are the BASIC rules of temp and BP? Re; temp rises, bullet path drops. Barametric pressure goes up bullet path goes down??? What are the simple things to remember without being a physisist or weatherman?

At long range, as temp goes up so does the bullet (less drop). As baro goes up, bullet goes down (more drop).

man you all are going deep, I have a kestrel which I use for wind speed, I always wear a casio sea-pathfinder watch which gives me the station pressure, to calibrate I call the local weather number and see what the BP is at the weather tower, then I drive by the tower and check the watch, I then leave my altitude on exbal on zero.

Buzz, higher BP actualy changes the bullets BC, thicker air makes more drag which lowers BC.

Not corrected BC, which is all you should ever be using.
