You might also consider a 156 or 176 Cauterucio, or a 162 AMAX. All shoot well from a 1:9".

I'm using 89.5grs of Retumbo.
I shot a great group at 500 meters Saturday, 1.3125" which by my calculations equates to .23 moa, I really like this rifle too bad it's not mine as I'm only helping a friend out by working up a good load for him!

Wow! That's good shooting. I'll start building my 7 rum by spring. I look forward to seeing if I can even come close to that kind of accuracy.

speedbump... What is your experience with the amax or the cauterucio's as hunting bullets? How do you get a hold of information and ballistics on the cauterucios?
