7mm MRX - excellent

I've been working on some Barnes loads. A guy at the range said that his loads worked best when the triple X was loaded .050-.070 from the lands. Mine were much closer and perhaps accounted for the larger groups. The surprie for the day was the MRX.

140gr MRX with 62gr of IMR 4831 federal 215primer and COAL 3.260. It was basically two holes but I ripped it a little in my hurry to get it off the target board.

Couldn't have done it without the help from this site. Thanks guys.

No doubt, one of the most expensive commercially available bullets, go figure.

    good shooting.

Well that's one cool looking bullet. You'll be shooting in style now. I'm tempted just because they look so cool!

I thought so too. The MRX & TSX shot the same from 2 different 300 RUM's I load for. I couldn't justify the price.

It is pretty tough to justify shooting expensive bullets like that when you can buy Bergers for half the price, and they have awsome terminal damage!

I've found that its tougher to get the Bergers to shoot than say a TSX. That is why they appeal to me...sometimes.
